Hello, I’m Kanika.

I’m a Service Designer and DesignOps Specialist with hands-on experience in UX research, systems thinking, and mixed-methods inquiry. I work across research, product, and operations, using research to help design teams work more effectively at scale, and to improve both workflows and design outcomes across product, enterprise, and global contexts.

With over six years of experience and a background in Architecture, I bring a structural lens to complex problems, connecting research, strategy, and execution. I hold a Master’s in Service Design from SCAD and currently work as a DesignOps Specialist at Loco, where I uncover insights that lead to meaningful improvements in both product and process.

My work includes initiatives like SCAD x Lextant, where I helped develop an Ideal Experience Framework through research, and the SDN Young Talent Board, where I contributed to improving speaker experiences through research-led communication strategy. I’m motivated by human-centered research and believe that well-designed systems, informed by real insights, create lasting impact for both teams and the people they serve.
